Job summary

As the Software Engineer Intern, you’ll partner with experienced professionals and support a dynamic team across key functions. This role provides exposure to the day-to-day operations of a multi-faceted organization while helping you develop critical business competencies.

• Collaborate with software engineers, test engineers, business partners, and leaders on coding and debugging
• Deliver effective technical documentation, automated test scripts, and software components
• Translate user stories and requirements, develop automated test scripts, and implement test scripts and software components within projects
• Support technical design, planning, testing, and implementation within the Agile software development process

For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFH)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFH), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment.

Job Specifications

• Ability to work remotely within the United States, including private or semi-private workspace
• Availability to participate for the full 10-week program - Monday through Friday
• Access to high-speed internet - Required technology will be provided

Program Dates: June 1, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

Target: Information Technology, Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of or experience coding
• Understanding of business analytics
• Project Management or project coordination skills
• Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation

Education Level: Currently enrolled and in good standing at an accredited college or university, with at least junior-level (3rd year) standing.

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $24.50 - $30.50.
