Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts offers hospitality and culinary internships for current undergraduate or graduate students for the 2025 summer season at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Internships cover Culinary, F&B, Golf, Rooms, Front Desk, Accounting, HR with development, shadowing, and leadership exposure.

Interns join a well-known AAA Four Diamond resort, gain firsthand experience with guest services, and participate in staff and management training classes while enjoying

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Master’s or Technical degree program.
• Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Desire to learn and contribute in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development support program and training.
• Engage in functional role training, leadership shadowing, and mentorship sessions.
• Interact with hotel executives and corporate leadership teams.
• Attend property-based staff and management training classes/sessions.

As part of Grand Geneva Resort & Spa’s campus recruitment and associate development efforts, we will employ several, hospitality and culinary interns each year. These opportunities are available only for current undergraduate or graduate students attending school with work authorization in the U.S.for the summer season in 2025.

What we are looking for:

• Prior experience in hospitality setting is helpful but not required
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Master’s or Technical degree program
• Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, analytical, and written communication skills
• Desire to learn and contribute in a team-based environment
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and detail oriented
• Willing and motivated to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems to meet the changing demands of the industry
• Have reliable transportation
