Job summary

Wisconsin State Public Defender is seeking an Internship Recruitment Coordinator (HR Specialist) to own and grow the SPD internship program in a part-time LTE role in Madison, WI. The role includes coordinating interview scheduling, tracking internship requests, and supporting DEI initiatives.

Hybrid collaboration with division leadership is expected to strengthen our candidate pipeline. The position emphasizes professional communication with candidates and building partnerships with colleges

Qualifications

Professional work experience collecting and tracking data using a variety of tools (e.g., spreadsheets, online forms, databases).
Professional work experience coordinating and scheduling appointments, events, meetings, calendars, etc.

Responsibilities

Own the internship recruitment pipeline by expanding fellowship opportunities and outreach.
Track internship requests and coordinate interview scheduling using Google Workspace, spreadsheets and online forms.
Collaborate with Division leadership to ensure a seamless intern recruitment process and drive program improvements.
Communicate with candidates about the internship program, interview scheduling and the application process.
Assist the DEI Officer in facilitating ERGs, contributing to the agency newsletter, and supporting the DEI Plan goals.
