Job summary

Mankiewicz Coatings LLC is seeking a motivated Intern to join the Automotive team in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and documenting projects from initiation through completion, while supporting internal teams and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates are current or recent graduates with strong communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and a willingness to work independently in a fast-paced environment. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Current or recent college graduate (Associate's or Bachelor's).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating projects from initiation through completion.
  • Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and follow-ups.
  • Communicate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain project schedules, files, documentation, and status updates.
  • Follow up with team members on outstanding tasks and deadlines.
  • Help identify project risks, delays, or issues and escalate them as needed.
  • Support preparation of project reports, presentations, and progress updates.
  • Assist with coordinating resources, materials, and logistics.
  • Help ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with objectives.
  • Perform general administrative and coordination tasks to support the team.

Mankiewicz Coatings LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Automotive team in beautiful Charleston, SC.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating projects from initiation through completion
  • Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and action items
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and follow-ups
  • Communicate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed

Role Requirements:
  • A current or recent college graduate (Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree program).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Experience with SAP software would be a benefit.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching.
  • Exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak professionally.
