Job summary

Infineon Technologies is seeking a Software Tools Engineer in Lexington to design and implement tools for large measurement and simulation data used in SPICE model generation. You will build data pipelines, automate QA checks, and collaborate with device modelers and process engineers to translate requirements into software features.

The role requires pursuing a BS or MS in a related field with Python and/or C++, plus experience with NumPy, pandas or MATLAB, Git, and scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Programming: Strong coding experience in Python and/or C++ and scripting languages for automation.
• Modeling: Familiarity with circuit simulation and SPICE or equivalent simulation environments is a plus.
• Analysis: Experience with data analysis tools (NumPy, pandas, MATLAB) and data visualization libraries
• Tools: Comfortable with version control systems such as Git and basic software engineering practices
• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and focused on improving quality and productivity through software

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate: US $ 27.50 – US $ 40.50 Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
