Job summary
Hunkemöller invites you to join their cyber security internship, offering hands-on experience with ISMS maintenance and risk management. You will document security processes and assist in security assessments across vendors and internal systems, while collaborating with stakeholders to support cyber security objectives.

- Help maintain and improve Hunkemöller’s ISMS in line with standards.
- Support cyber security risk management by identifying and tracking risks.
- Document security processes, standards, and procedures for auditable work.
- Assist with security assessments of vendors, tools, and internal systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support cyber security objectives.
- Work with managed security providers to help keep Hunkemöller secure.

- Support cyber security risk management by identifying, assessing, and tracking risks.
- Document security processes, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent and auditable ways of working.
- Assist with security assessments of vendors, tools, and internal systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support cyber security objectives.
- Work with our managed security providers to help keep Hunkemöller secure.
- Passionate about cyber security, with a strong interest in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
- Familiar with IT networks and infrastructure, including how systems, identities, and data interact.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing your own work.
- Eager to learn and build a career in cyber security.
- Currently enrolled in an HBO, Bachelor’s, or Master’s program in cyber security or a related field, with at least the first semesters completed.
You will gain hands-on experience in incident management and business continuity management.
You will practice threat hunting and gap analysis relevant to the retail industry.
You will broaden your knowledge on incident response frameworks and on the anatomy of an incident.
You will demonstrate your capability to enhance event detection and incident reporting capabilities.
You will gain experience in establishing correlation in a technology diverse environment.

Work From Home (WFH) Policy: For 40-hour internships, you are allowed to work from home up to 3 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training.
Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week).
Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.
Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also, company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks.
For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in February 2027. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:
You are an EU citizen,
You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
