Hunkemöller in the Netherlands offers the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) for a Corporate Recruitment intern. You will support hiring managers, own BIIR recruitment, and engage with candidates across global projects.
You will gain coaching from a buddy, enjoy a 450€ monthly internship allowance, a WFH policy up to 2 days per week, and access to staff discounts and campus events. Availability starts September 2026 for five months.
Formación
- Bachelors (HBO) or Master’s student with first experience in Recruitment/HR or project management internships/apprenticeships/jobs
- Good verbal and written English
- Well organized and a planner, proactive and have a can-do mentality
- Confident, approachable, and enjoys engaging with people
- Passionate about HR, Corporate Recruitment and people
Responsabilidades
- Corporate recruitment supporting hiring managers from A-Z
- Own recruitment for BIIR with fellow intern
- Maintain contact with candidates and hiring managers to deliver world-class service
- Coordinate trainings and activities for BIIR and BIIR Ambassador program
- Join global and local recruitment projects to improve processes and candidate experience
- Recruitment reporting, including analytics and improvement advice
- Opportunities to join campus recruitment events and employer branding initiatives

- Corporate recruitment with the aim of supporting hiring managers in hiring processes from A-Z
- Ownership of the recruitment for our “Best Internship in Retail” with your fellow recruitment intern
- Continuous contact with candidates and hiring managers
- Support running and coordinating the “Best Internship in Retail” program, incl. organizing events and being first point of contact for your fellow interns on questions, concerns, and general information
- Join global and local recruitment projects with the aim to either improve processes and procedures, candidate experience, or hiring manager cooperation
- Recruitment reporting, incl. analytics and improvement advise
- Opportunities to join campus recruitment events, and employer branding initiatives
- Bachelors (HBO) or Master’s student that ideally gained first experience in Recruitment, HR or project management internships/apprenticeships/jobs
- Good verbal and written communicative skills in English
- A true spider in the web: well organized and a planner, proactive and have a true can-do mentality
- You are confident, approachable, and enjoy engaging with new people and building relationships with others
- You are passionate about HR, Corporate Recruitment, and people
The Best Internship in Retail (BIIR): Be a part of an exceptional internship program with 50 other fellow interns, filled with diverse learning opportunities such as Personal Branding and Business Innovation & Presenting trainings, the CEO Q&A, a Dragons’ Den, and so much more!
An Assigned Buddy: Personal coaching from your buddy to discover your potential, guide your growth and build your network, within an empowering, playful and inclusive work environment.
Work From Home (WFH) Policy: For 40-hour internships, you are allowed to work from home up to 2 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training.
Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week).
Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.
Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also, company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks.
For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in September 2026. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:
You are an EU citizen,
You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).

For our “Best Internship in Retail” you’ll support running the trainings and activities for your fellow interns, in addition to coordinating the BIIR Ambassador program
Join global and local recruitment projects with the aim to either improve processes and procedures, candidate experience, or hiring manager cooperation
Recruitment reporting, incl. analytics and improvement advise
Opportunities to join campus recruitment events, and employer branding initiatives
Bachelors (HBO) or Master’s student that ideally gained first experience in Recruitment, HR or project management internships/apprenticeships/jobs

You are passionate about HR, Corporate Recruitment and people
You need to be available to work on internship tasks for at least 36 hours a week (a max of 4 hours per week you can spend on school/internship assignments or thesis).
