Hunkemöller offers an internship in Privacy & LegalTech starting February 2027. You will support the privacy team to ensure compliance with GDPR and related laws, monitor privacy requests, and help implement AI-powered LegalTech solutions.

You’ll gain presentation skills, contribute to privacy policy updates, and collaborate with IT/eCommerce teams. The program includes an assigned buddy, a 40-hour work week with a WFH option, and an internship allowance of 450€ gross per month plus travel

Formación

• Passion for privacy, data protection and legal tech.
• Studying or minor in Law and Technology, Privacy Law, Data Protection Law, GDPR, etc.
• Last semesters of Masters/Bachelors/HBO studies.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

Internship Privacy & LegalTech

What will you do?

• Support the privacy team at an international retail organization ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations such as the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive
• Understanding how to monitor, analyze and follow-up on privacy requests from various departments of the organization, customers or others
• Supporting the team with automation and AI-first technology solution to improve LegalTech in our team
• Getting involved in privacy awareness activities and trainings, including developing your own presentation skills
• Keeping privacy policies up to date, developing internal data protection guidelines and material
• Supporting the team with managing the organization’s privacy software (OneTrust) including improving data quality and data flows
• Collaborate with stakeholders outside the Privacy and Legal team, with a focus on IT and eCommerce
• Learn about implementing cookie compliance and automating data subject requests

About you:

• You have a passion for privacy, data protection and legal technology
• You are studying or have a minor in Law and Technology, Privacy Law, Data Protection Law, Internet Law, GDPR, etc.
• You are at the last semesters of your Masters/Bachelors/HBO studies
• You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus
• You have a flexible, proactive, and can-do attitude
• You are organized with attention to detail
• You are motivated to learn, have a strong work ethic, and are described as dependable and reliable by those who know you
• Previous internship or relevant work experience is a plus
• Familiarity with a privacy and information technology risk management system such as OneTrust is a plus

• Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.

• Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also, company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks.

Eligibility Criteria

For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in February 2027. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:

• You are an EU citizen,

• You are on a Family/Partner visa, or

• You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
