Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Information Security Intern is a part-time position that will assist in the day-to-day administration, support and ongoing enhancement of Menard, Inc.’s Information Security programs. The position requires a highly motivated, team-oriented person with excellent communication skills and an emphasis in Information Security.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and respond to e-mail, firewall, anti-virus / anti-malware security notifications and reports
• Design new security dashboards and reports under the guidance of the Information Security team
• Assist security analysts with risk assessments
• Assist security analysts in researching enterprise security solutions
• Document instructions for routine information security tasks that can be carried out by other members of the team
• Maintain a basic working knowledge of Menards’ corporate network and application inventory
• Work with 3rd party support providers as required
