Job summary

Nooter/Eriksen, Inc. invites Engineering and Marketing Interns to join its 2027 Summer Internship Program in St. Louis.

The program runs from late May to early August and offers real-world projects, exposure to HRSG-related activities, and interactions with senior leadership to foster career growth. Interns gain hands-on experience across R&D, instrumentation, thermal design, marketing, and structural/mechanical engineering while enjoying company culture events and paid holidays.

Qualifications

  • Completion of three years toward a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering school.
  • Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to read/analyze technical engineering drawings.
  • Completion of three years toward a Bachelor degree in marketing/advertising or a related field from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineering and marketing teams on internship projects and tasks.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and data.
  • Contribute to team meetings and present results to mentors.
  • Collaborate across departments to gain broader exposure to the business.

Nooter/Eriksen is seeking highly motivated Interns for our paid 2027 Summer Internship Program, running from late May to early August. This general posting is meant to determine where each applicant will find the most value and interest within the opportunities available at N/E.     • Departmental presentations from New HRSG Sales, Estimating, Thermal Design, QA, Projects, I&C, Structural/Mechanical, Procurement, Logistics, R&D, and Aftermarket to provide an overview of duties and collaboration opportunities within the organization
  • Career Development
    • One-on-one interaction with senior level leadership
    • Mid-point meetings with your supervisor and regular check-ins throughout the summer
    • One-on-ones with hiring managers about potential employment opportunities
  • Experience company culture
    • Food truck events and lunch with Human Resources
    • Lunch with entry-level engineers to get integrated with the culture
    • Top Golf event with entry-level engineers
    • Paid holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July)
    • ½ day Virtual Fridays, working from home

Qualifications
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Engineering Interns
    • Completion of three (3) years toward a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering school
    • Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to read/analyze technical engineering drawings.
  • Marketing Interns
    • Completion of three (3) years toward a Bachelor degree in marketing/advertising or a related field from an accredited school
  • For all Interns
    • Ability to listen and take direction and work both independently and with a team.
    • Solid communication skills and proactive.
    • Ability to read, write, problem solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results; effective written and verbal communication are essential.
