Job summary

Program Overview

Our Homecare Agency Internship Program gives students hands‑on exposure to client care coordination, public homecare initiatives, and community outreach. This program is ideal for students pursuing public health, social work, nursing, or homecare administration.

In the Office

• Assist with scheduling and client‑caregiver matching.
• Support case managers and observe coordination of care.
• Maintain client records and assist with compliance.
• Collect and analyze client satisfaction surveys.

In the Community

• Participate in health fairs, YMCA/community events, and outreach programs.
• Shadow caregiver visits (HIPAA-permitting).
• Conduct follow‑up calls and surveys.
• Distribute wellness resources and connect with local partners.

Learning Outcomes

• Understand how a homecare agency operates.
• Gain knowledge of public homecare challenges in aging communities.
• Build professional communication and outreach skills.
