Sunoco L.P. is seeking interns to join one of our fast-paced teams in Philadelphia, PA. This 12-week paid internship begins May 2027 and requires enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with expected graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.

Roles span Supply, Trading, Pricing, Race Fuels and Business Development. You will collaborate with executives, develop business metrics, and support data-driven projects across multiple commercial teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in college and open to all degree backgrounds; we can teach you the rest.
  • Preferably junior status.
  • Above-average GPA.
  • Strong problem-solving and intellectual curiosity.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to getting things done.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate daily with team members and executives to learn Sunoco’s Fuel Business and develop metrics; provide reports for optimization.
  • Assist with asset and customer data management for new business integration into Sunoco systems.
  • Meet with team members to learn the corporate environment.
  • Review data such as expenses, fuel margins and prices to identify exceptions and report metrics.
  • Review fuel market data and help develop analytical tools.
  • Support project work for Commercial teams including Fuel Pricing, Supply, Logistics, Trading, Midstream, Quality, and Systems Setup.

Sunoco, L.P., the leading operator of critical energy infrastructure and North America’s largest independent fuel distributor, is looking for interns to join one of our fast-paced, high impact teams in Philadelphia, PA, We are seeking to fill roles in the following departments: Supply, Trading, Pricing Race Fuels and Business Development.

Internship Program Details

This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Collaborate daily with team members and executives to learn Sunoco’s Fuel Business. Develop metrics and provide reports for business optimization and monitoring; use analysis to help identify potential opportunities.
  • Assist with management of asset and customer data for integration of new business into Sunoco systems.
  • Meet and work with various team members to learn the ins and outs of corporate environment.
  • Review data, such as expenses, fuel margins and prices, to identify exceptions, report key metrics, and develop corrective actions.
  • Review fuel market data and help develop tools for analysis and monitoring.
  • Perform project work to support one or several of the following Commercial teams: Fuel Pricing, Fuel Supply, Logistics, Trading, Midstream, Quality, and Systems Setup.
