Due to the large number of systems, interconnected services, cloud-based
workloads, and statewide locations, additional staff is required to effectively
support this effort. As a Microsoft Government G5 tenant that heavily leverages
cloud services, the team must ensure that all systems follow industry best
practices, meet strategic initiatives, comply with federal and state regulatory
requirements, and maintain business continuity. This includes adhering to cloud
security practices such as Zero Trust principles, role-based access controls,
secure configuration baselines, and continuous monitoring aligned with

cloud-centric solutions, while also assisting with day-to-day operational needs
across the environment.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Emphases for the Web/Internet candidate will include supporting the Office 365
Government G5 SharePoint environment and related solutioning efforts for a
remote workforce. Responsibilities include development, configuration, and
modification of sites, forms, and workflows; Power BI support; site administration
and permissions; user support; ongoing site maintenance; and day-to-day
operational activities.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
The position will be assigned for 40 hours per week for the duration of the project.
The candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including outside traditional
business hours when necessary. Remote work may be possible.
The candidate will work closely with the Assigned M365 Solutions Manager to
identify, prioritize, and schedule workloads and ensure implementation adheres
to IT standards and procedures. The candidate will also collaborate with
customers and subject matter experts during system design and testing phases.
This role also requires compliance with SCDPH security policies and procedures,
along with integrating systems where it is possible to streamline workflows,
enhance user security, and reduce data correction needs.
