Ashurst Perkins Coie Group is seeking a professional to support and grow our US Export Controls, Tariffs, and CFIUS practice from our Washington, DC office. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus, and experience with BIS, DDTC, and customs law is required or preferred depending on the role.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of BIS and DDTC regimes, U.S. CBP entry/classification/valuation, and related sanctions regimes.

Qualifications

• Experience with export controls administered by BIS and DDTC.
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs and Border Protection processes: entry, classification, valuation.
