Doeren Mayhew seeks an International Tax Director to lead tax compliance and planning engagements for multinational clients. You will ensure technical quality, accuracy, and timeliness while mentoring staff within the International Services Group.

The role demands strong cross-border tax expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to build trusted client relationships. CPA licensed professionals with global tax knowledge are strongly encouraged to apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of public accounting experience with significant corporate international tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. international corporate/entity tax law and compliance requirements.
• Experience with cross-border transactions, multinational structures, and international tax planning.
• Strong understanding of international tax forms and reporting requirements.
• Strong research, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple complex engagements and build trusted client relationships.
• Experience with tax research and compliance software.

Mansioni

• Lead complex international tax engagements for multinational businesses, privately held companies, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Advise clients on cross-border tax planning, international structures, transactions, and compliance. Oversee preparation and review of U.S. tax returns with cross border implications and information reporting.
• Research and advise on international tax matters including CFCs, Subpart F, GILTI, foreign tax credits, PFICs, tax treaties, and withholding requirements.
• Monitor changes in U.S. and international tax laws and communicate impacts to clients and team members.
• Coordinate with domestic tax teams and foreign advisors to provide integrated solutions.
• Review tax returns, workpapers, and deliverables for technical accuracy and quality.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and client expectations.
• Mentor and develop tax professionals and support recruiting efforts.
• Leader of knowledge base within your corporate/entity tax technical skillset of the International Services Group.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services and business development.
