Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) seeks an experienced International Tax Services Manager/Director to lead cross-border advisory work and mentor professionals within the ITS practice from a California base. You will advise on complex international tax matters, support business development, and guide teams across the firm.

This senior role requires 6+ years of international tax experience, a CPA, and deep U.S. and foreign tax knowledge, with flexibility to be based in any CLA office nationwide.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience required.
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification).
• Deep technical knowledge of international tax, foreign and US tax law.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant regarding a wide range of international business challenges, from going international to optimizing cross-border structures.
• Research client international tax issues and apply solutions in foreign tax credit planning, M&A, earnings repatriation, treaty analysis and export incentives.
• Prepare and review the US international component of complex individual and corporate tax returns.
• Maintain current knowledge of foreign and US tax laws.
• Excels at engagement management and operational excellence.
• Mentor and escalate for Associate and Senior ITS members.
