Job summary

Jobot is seeking an International Tax Manager in Florida to oversee outbound US tax for individuals and businesses and to support business development. The role requires deep knowledge of international tax laws, treaty benefits, foreign entity planning, and accurate filing of multi-form disclosures.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in international tax, CPA or MST/JD preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills to work across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an International Tax role.
  • Extensive experience with 1040R.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US Outbound International Tax law and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Proven experience with foreign entity planning and reporting including Foreign Trusts and Businesses.
  • Proficient in overseeing and reviewing the preparation of Forms 5471, 8992, 8865, 8832, 965, 8621 and 1116/1118 and other related disclosure statements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Tax Manager to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in managing and overseeing international tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance, and maximizing benefits from U.S. Income Tax Treaties. The candidate will also be responsible for participating in business development and must possess a broad technical knowledge of US Outbound International Tax law and regulations for individuals and businesses.
