Compass Group USA is seeking a Tax Intern for the International Income Tax Team in Charlotte, NC, during Summer '27. The hybrid internship runs May 17 to Aug 6, 2027, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with no eligibility for certain benefits.

The intern will gain hands-on experience in a corporate tax department, assisting with tax forms, spreadsheet models, tax software, and ERP systems.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student in an accounting or similar program, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and organization; multi-tasking capability.
• Strong interpersonal skills and self-directed, proactive attitude.

Aufgaben

• Prepare US international income tax returns, forms, and schedules.
• Prepare foreign income tax returns and withholding tax calculations.
• Assist with documentation of various tax return calculations and filing positions.
• Assist in the calculation of intercompany transactions for transfer pricing purposes.
• Special projects as assigned.
