Job summary

Trine University in Detroit, MI seeks an International Services Processor to support the Office of International Services by processing immigration documents and maintaining SEVIS and university records. The role focuses on compliance and data accuracy, serving as a DSO upon training within established procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities include updating student SEVIS records, assisting with CPT processing, performing term-based SEVIS registrations, and generating routine compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: experience in higher education, records management, or data processing.
• Preferred: customer service experience and familiarity with database systems.
• Experience with international students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) upon training and authorization.
• Process student requests and updates within Trine University student record platforms.
• Assist with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) processing by updating SEVIS records and providing updated immigration documents to students.
• Complete SEVIS registration for F-1 students each academic term.
• Maintain accurate student data in SEVIS, Sunapsis, and the university student information system.
• Conduct routine audits of assigned student records to ensure data accuracy and federal compliance.
• Identify discrepancies or regulatory interpretations and escalate to leadership.
• Generate basic compliance and enrollment reports as requested.
• Additional duties as assigned.
