Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking an International Shipping Coordinator at our new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC. The position pays $20 per hour with core hours 8:30am–5:30pm.

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will process shipping/receiving data and collaborate with customers to resolve invoicing and on-hand counts in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of logistics/warehouse experience including order selection, packing and receiving.
• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Enter data for shipping/receiving orders and resolve invoicing/shipping issues.
• Schedule transportation for truckload and LTL shipments.
• Serve as SAP expert on the team.
• Assist loading/unloading, scanning and tagging.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety rules.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Use 5S+ to maintain a clean, organized area.
• Drive and inspect forklifts daily.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview: The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will enter data for shipping/receiving order and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing shipping and on hand counts in the warehouse.

In this function you will:

• Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.
• Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal and global restrictions.
• Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team.
• Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.
• Assist the department in loading/unloading of truck, scanning and tagging as needed.
• Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area.
• You will drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessary

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Minimum two years experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes
• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution

No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Youngsville, NC facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and bend frequently
