Job summary

Eaton in Youngsville, NC is seeking an International Shipping Coordinator to manage data entry for shipping/receiving orders and coordinate with customers to resolve invoicing and inventory issues in the warehouse.

In this role, you will schedule transportation for truckload and LTL shipments, ensure document accuracy, and act as SAP system expert while supporting EH&S and 5S+ practices on the floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes
• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution

The hourly rate for this position is$20per hour.

Core hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview: The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will enter data for shipping/receiving order and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing shipping and on hand counts in the warehouse.

In this function you will:

• Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.
• Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal and global restrictions.
• Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team.
• Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.
• Assist the department in loading/unloading of truck, scanning and tagging as needed.
• Adhereto environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area.
• You will drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessary

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Minimum two years experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes
• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution

No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Youngsville, NC facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
