Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a senior security professional to coordinate international security activities, develop procedures, and oversee access controls for sensitive collaborations. The role requires clear briefing and leadership across government, contractor, and partner stakeholders.

The candidate will assess security implications, lead teams in fast-paced environments, and travel up to 25% for coordination and meetings. A Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a multi-disciplinary security program including support to SAP or SCIF environments.
  • 10+ years of experience with security protocols including visitor access and badging.
  • 4+ years as a security professional.
  • Knowledge of AECA, FMS, Security Assistance policies and ICD 705.
  • Ability to brief and report to senior audiences and lead a team in classified environments.
  • Up to 25% travel.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree; SFPC/PSC or ISOC prep certifications.

Job Description

Maintain oversight for coordinating security planning for foreign participation, international visits, meetings, technical exchanges, and partner-facing activities. Develop and maintain international-security procedures, visit documentation, access records, coordination packages, and tracking tools. Monitor international-security actions and resolve coordination issues that could affect mission schedules or sensitive information. Assess security implications of proposed partner activities and recommend controls that enable authorized collaboration. Support reviews and assessments of multinational activities to confirm consistent application of approved protections. Work independently without considerable direction.


Qualifications

10+ years of experience working in a multi-disciplined security program, including support to Special Access Program or Sensitive Compartmented Information environments


10+ years of experience with security protocols, including security checks, oversight of secure spaces, and visitor access and badging


4+ years of experience as a security professional


Knowledge of U.S. International or Foreign Affairs objectives, the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes, international relations policy objectives within Security Assistance, and DoDM 5205.07 Volumes and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705


Ability to coordinate effectively across government, contractor, and external stakeholders, prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence, present verbal and written presentations to flag-officer or senior-level audiences, and lead a team in fast-paced classified environments


Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Acquisitions and Contracting Basics in the NISP Certification and Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or the Physical Security Certification (PSC)


Ability to obtain the Industrial Security Oversight Certification (ISOC) within 1 year of hire date

Experience with F-35 aviation operations and support


Experience with administrative duties such as scheduling execution of security related meetings, conferences, and other events or activities


Experience conducting risk management and risk analysis to evaluate security threats and vulnerabilities for each security discipline


Experience with the Microsoft Office suite


Ability to provide recommendations and innovative solutions


Ability to communicate and interact, in writing and verbally, with colleagues, counterparts, senior officials in various U.S. and foreign government military or civilian agencies, and representatives of various cultures with tact and diplomacy on all occasions


Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and initiative, requiring minimal supervision


Compensation & Benefits

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
