We are now accepting applications for our International Projects Domestic Apprentice. The Domestic Apprenticeships begin on February 3, 2027.
Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As an International Projects Domestic Apprentice,you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the public
Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors, and volunteers
Receive hands‑on training and exposure to program management and the operations of supporting international disaster relief responses and humanitarian assistance within the International Projects Department
Have a unique opportunity to shadow a full‑time staff and be trained, coached, and mentored in the core responsibilities of a member of a regional team and our International Response Unit (IDRU) which support our international field offices and disaster responses
Actively assisting in day‑to‑day support and ministry tasks of the International Projects Department while learning best practices of disaster relief and humanitarian assistance and meeting both physical and spiritual needs around the globe.

Employment timeframe: Apprentice positions will be 2 years in length and while the express purpose of an apprenticeship is to equip an individual for full‑time work, a job is not guaranteed, however, it is the expectation that the individual will successfully gain the needed competencies in order to advance.

Samaritan’s Purse is a 501(c)(3) tax‑exempt charity. All contributions designated for specific projects shall be applied to those projects, and we may assess up to 10 percent to be used for administering the gift. Occasionally, we receive more contributions for a given project than can be wisely applied to that project. When that happens, we use these funds to meet a similar pressing need.
