Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, GA seeks a Transportation Specialist to coordinate and execute domestic and international transportation for ingredients, materials, and concentrates across plants and bottlers. You will manage inbound/outbound shipments and drive cost-effective logistics while ensuring regulatory compliance and service continuity.

With 3–5 years in logistics, you will work with carriers, optimize routes, and lead improvements using TMS, SAP TM, and OTM.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
• Experience with TMS, SAP TM, or Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) preferred.
• Knowledge of domestic and international transportation operations, carrier management, and import processes.
• Familiarity with DOT and Hazmat regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily domestic and international freight activities to support on-time delivery performance.
• Communicate load scheduling, tracking, and status updates to cross-functional teams for effective execution.
• Manage transportation activities within TMS/OTM and SAP systems, including routing and master data maintenance.
• Plan inbound transportation to ensure shipments are ready for timely warehouse receiving.
• Support international import processes to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
• Monitor carrier performance, lead quarterly business reviews, and drive improvement.
• Prepare transportation scorecards, KPI reports, and carrier performance summaries.
• Support routing guide development and transportation optimization initiatives.
• Lead transportation-related continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Franchise Managers, Material Management, Customer Service, Quality, Warehouse and Operations.
