Job summary

Twin River Group, Inc. is seeking an International Logistics Coordinator in New Jersey to manage inbound and outbound international shipments from origin to final receipt.

You will work with suppliers, carriers, and warehouses to keep freight moving on schedule and report logistics performance to leadership. The role requires at least 3 years in international logistics, DGD documentation, and FDA import experience, with strong organizational and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in international logistics or freight coordination.
  • Experience preparing and handling DGD documentation.
  • Experience with FDA import requirements and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance procedures.
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses.
  • Strong follow-up, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international shipments from origin through final delivery, including ocean and air freight.
  • Coordinate with third parties for incoming inventory and ensure timely receipt.
  • Receive, control, and manage inventory.
  • Prepare shipments and coordinate with third parties for outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare and review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, DGD docs).
  • Work with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses.
  • Communicate with customers and logistics partners on status and delays.
  • Keep leadership updated on shipment status and issues.
  • Track shipments and address delays until resolution.
  • Manage delivery appointments and receipt confirmation with warehouse contacts.
  • Resolve discrepancies with missing, delayed, or damaged cartons.
  • Maintain shipment and inventory records and provide status updates.

About the Role

Twin River Group is seeking an experienced International Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound international shipments, inventory, and deliveries from origin through final receipt. This position works closely with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse partners, and customers to keep freight moving on schedule, resolve shipping issues, and keep company leadership informed about logistics performance.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate international shipments from origin through final delivery, including ocean and air freight
  • Coordinate with third parties for incoming inventory and ensure timely and accurate receipt
  • Receive, control, and manage inventory
  • Prepare shipments and coordinate with third parties for outgoing shipments and deliveries
  • Prepare and review shipping and import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and DGD documentation and DGD compliance
  • Work with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and warehouses
  • Communicate with customers and logistics partners regarding shipment status and delivery
  • Keep the team and all necessary departments continuously updated on shipment status, delays, delivery schedules, and outstanding issues
  • Track shipments, identify delays early, and follow up until issues are resolved
  • Coordinate delivery appointments and confirm receipt with warehouse contacts
  • Resolve discrepancies involving missing, delayed, or damaged cartons
  • Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records and provide status updates to internal teams
  • Support customs and FDA compliance and stay informed about import requirements
  • Meet regularly with company leadership to discuss work methods, logistics performance, and outstanding issues
  • Help develop and improve logistics strategies, methods, and processes
  • Perform additional related duties as needed and adapt to changes in responsibilities as required by the company
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in international logistics, import/export, or freight coordination
  • Experience preparing and handling DGD documentation
  • Experience with FDA requirements and procedures for imported shipments
  • Working knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance procedures
  • Experience working with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses
  • Strong follow-up, organization, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • NetSuite knowledge is a PLUS
