About the Role
The Position
We are seeking an Internal Wholesaler - Sub-Advised Insurance Distribution , to support Wellington's sub-advised insurance business. This individual will work in close partnership with External Wholesalers, Business Development Managers and Relationship Managers to coordinate and advance Wellington's insurance-channel distribution strategy, support ongoing strategic relationship management efforts, and help drive effective engagement across insurance partner organizations.
The position serves as a critical distribution enablement role, responsible for coordinating content, supporting presentations and educational initiatives, facilitating partner engagement activities, and helping execute strategic distribution efforts across the insurance channel. The successful candidate will develop deep knowledge of Wellington's investment capabilities, the insurance marketplace, and the evolving distribution landscape.
This role requires a highly organized, collaborative, and proactive individual who can effectively engage with internal stakeholders and external insurance partners while serving as a central coordinator for distribution activities. Success in the role will come from building strong relationships, keeping initiatives moving forward, and helping create the infrastructure, content, and support necessary for broader distribution success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with External Wholesalers, Business Development Managers, and Relationship Managers to support execution of Wellington's insurance-channel distribution strategy.
- Serve as a central coordinator across distribution initiatives, helping drive alignment, follow-through, and execution across internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance company home-office personnel, including sales desk managers, training teams, and other key distribution partners.
- Coordinate and deliver educational content, presentations, market updates, and training sessions for insurance distribution organizations.
- Manage and organize marketing materials, presentation content, and other client-facing resources to support distribution efforts.
- Coordinate follow-up activities resulting from meetings, campaigns, training events, and client engagements.
- Support positioning of Wellington strategies within insurance-based investment vehicles and platforms.
- Assist with planning and execution of field activities, desk visits, educational events and other distribution initiatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline tracking, activity reporting and distribution related business metrics.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Investments, and Relationship Management teams to support coordinated commercial execution across the channel.
