Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL, seeks a Temporary Internal Registry Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day Shift. This 12-week assignment in the Cardiovascular Laboratory (Cath Lab) requires an active RN license and BCLS/ACLS, with BSN preferred.

Temporary Internal Registry Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

• Location: Olympia Fields, IL
• Department: Cardiovascular Laboratory (Cath Lab)
• Status: Temporary Internal Registry
• Shift: Day Shift (Full-Time .9)
• Compensation: $60.00 per hour (Flat Rate)

Assignment Details

The assignment is expected to last 12 weeks; however, staffing needs will be evaluated on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
• Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.

Pay Transparency

Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $60.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
