Compensation: $50.00 - $65.00 /hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week.
About the Opportunity:
- The onsite Internal Quality Auditor & Quality Specialist role supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), with primary responsibility for internal audit execution and QMS documentation updates.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Technology or Engineering or Mathematics.
- 2+ years of experience in AS9100 and effective quality controls as the organization transitions from development into structured production.
- 2+ years of quality auditor experience, such as ASQ Quality Auditor (CQA) with aerospace, AS9100 Internal Auditor, AS9100 Lead Auditor.
- 2+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of quality assurance experience within the aerospace, defense, or space industry.
What Sets You Apart:
- External certification.
- Proven proficiency in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies using structured frameworks like 8D, DMAIC, or systematic formats.
- Clear understanding of how AS9100 requirements scale and adapt when a facility moves from a low-volume development/R&D environment into production.
- Experience working within a collaborative, established quality team in a fast-paced startup or small company environment.
- Hands-on proficiency in tracking tasks and managing system documentation using Jira, Confluence, and Odoo.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coach and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operations personnel.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Position could require travel to remote locations (with travel compensation included).
- Ability to safely navigate, walk, and maneuver about manufacturing facilities, hardware test facilities, and launch sites, as well as traditional office environments.
- Occasional climbing stairs or standard ladders might be needed.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Willingness and ability to wear required PPE in various designated operational areas (including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear/steel-toe boots, electronic discharge garments and instruments in specified areas).
