Job summary

Allspring Global Investments is seeking a Communications Specialist, Internal & PR to develop clear, timely content and coordinate communications across internal, corporate, media, and digital channels. In this role you will work with Marketing and Communications colleagues to execute day-to-day internal and external communications.

The position operates in a hybrid model, with in-office presence four days per week in Charlotte, NC (and Milwaukee, WI as a location).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years in corporate/internal/external communications or PR.
• Strong writing, editing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Project management and organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Experience coordinating content from draft to distribution.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional partners while handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, and edit internal and external communications across multiple channels.
• Support internal communications channels including emails, intranet, newsletters, and presentations.
• Coordinate communications for All Hands meetings, leadership forums, and organizational updates.
• Support public relations activities, including media monitoring and press materials.
• Manage communication project plans, calendars, timelines, and approvals.
• Publish content across channels with cross-partner collaboration to ensure consistency.
• Track performance and propose improvements to content and workflows.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Brand, HR, Digital, Legal, and Compliance.
