Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its internal application ecosystem supporting Autonomy development in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of tools enabling engineers and operations to build, test, and deploy autonomous vehicle technology at scale.

You will conduct deep user research, translate complex requirements into a cohesive product portfolio, and lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, and Data to accelerate commercialization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software product management with a track record of driving strategy and execution of complex software ecosystems.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead teams through organizational change.
• Excellent communication to articulate a product narrative for executive leadership.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Data) to deliver high ROI products.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, especially ML-based software development.
• Ability to quickly grasp deep technical concepts to understand architecture risks.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion a multi-year product vision and North Star for internal applications for Autonomy development.
• Bridge between Engineering and Design to deliver high-impact products and optimize user workflows.
• Develop empathy for AV development challenges across data visualization, ML labeling, and simulation lifecycles.
• Define and champion AI/agentic tools and workflows to accelerate development workflows.
• Rigorously manage the product roadmap balancing immediate stakeholder needs with long-term platform scalability.
• Translate qualitative user insights and usage metrics into high-fidelity requirements and user stories.
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments to build consensus on timelines and resource allocation.
