CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Illinois invites applications for Internal Operations Interns across Bloomington, Champaign, Dixon and Peoria. The role starts January 2027 and ends April 2027, with learning-focused responsibilities and exposure to tax document processing in a dynamic firm.
As an intern, you will review client tax documents, assist with intake, help track papers, support e-filing, and contribute to meeting government deadlines.

Our Bloomington, Champaign, Dixon, Peoria, IL locations are each seeking Internal Operations Interns.

Review and organize client incoming tax documents.
Assist with intake of tax information and prepare for routing.
Ensure all client documents are being tracked and kept current.
Organize, scan and process tax documents.
Assemble client tax returns following established procedures.
Assist team in meeting strict government deadlines.
E-filing and other final delivery type steps.
Other responsibilities may include preparation of informational tax documents.
General operational support and other responsibilities/tasks as requested.
Working towards the achievement of a bachelor's degree - Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is: $16.00 - $21.00.
