CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an Internal Operations Intern for several Illinois locations including Bloomington, Champaign, Dixon, and Peoria. The anticipated start date is January 2027 and the anticipated end date is April 2027.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and organizes client incoming tax documents.
• Assists with intake of tax information and routing preparation.
• Ensures all client documents are tracked and current.
• Organizes, scans and processes tax documents.
• Assembles client tax returns following procedures.
• Assists team in meeting government deadlines.
• E-filing and other final delivery steps.
• General operational support and related tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewsand organizesclient incoming tax documents.

• Assistswith intake of tax information and preparesfor routing.

• Assiststeam in meeting strict government deadlines.

• Other responsibilities may includepreparationof informational tax documents.

• General operational support and other responsibilities/tasks as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.

• Willingness to learnnew technologies.

• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
