Job summary

Jobtailor in Minnesota is seeking a detail-oriented tax internship candidate to help review and organize client tax documents and assist with intake of tax information for routing.

You will support the team in meeting government deadlines, perform e-filing, and prepare informational tax documents while gaining exposure to tax workflows and document management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office.
• Reliable transportation and travel to client sites.
• Available January 2027 to April 2027 internship period.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize client incoming tax documents.
• Assist with intake of tax information and prepare documents for routing.
• Track and keep current all client documents.
• Organize, scan, and process tax documents.
• Assemble client tax returns following established procedures.
• Assist the team in meeting government deadlines.
• Perform e-filing and other final delivery steps.
• Prepare informational tax documents as needed.
• Provide general operational support and complete other requested responsibilities.
