Digital Textbook Platform Integration and Support Lead

Duration: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027

Compensation: Extra‑Duty $55/Hour, not to exceed 30 hours

The Digital Textbook Platform Integration and Support Lead is responsible for ensuring successful integration and utilization of digital textbook platforms within Canvas and/or Clever. The Digital Textbook Platform Integration and Support Lead for each platform will support all educators using that platform, irrespective of course/content area. This position supports educators by developing learning resources for adopted/pilot digital textbook platforms, providing just‑in‑time technical support, and assisting in identifying resources to resolve issues related to digital textbook platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess a valid CA California Teaching Credential.
• Must be assigned to teach a course using the specific digital platform (e.g., Savvas, McGraw‑Hill, HMH, TCI, etc.) within the last 2 years or are tentatively scheduled per site administration to teach the course in 2026–2027 school year.
• Know how to use Screencastify to create how‑to videos.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to create user‑friendly instructional materials and support guides.
• Ability to work after school hours to accommodate training or support needs, in‑person and via Google Meet. High demand time is at the beginning of each semester.

Desirable Qualifications

• Proficiency in using and troubleshooting digital instructional tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with commonly used digital textbook platforms.
