Thrive Pet Healthcare seeks an experienced Veterinary Technician for our Internal Medicine team. You’ll work closely with the Internist to anticipate daily needs, coordinate diagnostics, maintain records, and ensure high-quality patient and client care.

The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, and capable of independent action while knowing when to ask for guidance. Strong veterinary knowledge and professional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent experience in veterinary practice.
• Proficiency in routine veterinary procedures including IV placement, phlebotomy, sample collection, injections, restraint, and equipment use.
• Leads with empathy and compassionate client service.
• Strong communication with doctors, clients, and teammates.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support flow of the day and coordinate diagnostics and treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient care.
• Collaborate with internist and veterinary team to manage complex cases.
• Prioritize tasks, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to changing schedules.
