Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced Internal Medicine department. The role supports internists with client communication, patient care, anesthesia, phlebotomy, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have veterinary technician credential (LVT/RVT) or equivalent
• Experience with anesthesia and phlebotomy preferred
• Comfort with ultrasound, endoscopy, and radiology support

Responsibilities

• Set up CRI and perform medical math calculations
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia
• Prepare and assist ultrasound/radiology procedures
• Set up and assist endoscopic procedures
• Discharge IM patients and provide client education
• Assist with sample collection, labs, and prescriptions
