Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a knowledgeable Veterinary Technician to join their fast-paced Internal Medicine department. The role offers a pay band of $22.15–$33.60 per hour with on-call rotation and shift differentials for nights and weekends, plus comprehensive benefits.

The technician will liaise with internists, handle client communications, assist with CRI, anesthesia, imaging, and endoscopy, and contribute to high-quality pet care.

Qualifications

• Strong anesthesia and phlebotomy skills required.
• RVT with Specialty experience preferred.
• Internal Medicine veterinary technician knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
• Calculates all medical math including advanced dosing (mcg/mg, %/mg).
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
• Discharge IM patients and provide client education (e.g., insulin, SQ fluids).
• Additional duties as assigned.
