Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Langhorne, PA is seeking a knowledgeable Veterinary Technician to split time between the Emergency department and Internal Medicine. The role includes triage, CRI setup, anesthesia, radiology and endoscopy support, and client education.

Pay ranges from $21.00 to $43.00 per hour, with progression through our competency leveling system based on experience. Join a team dedicated to high-quality care for pets in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Triage emergency cases and obtain vitals (temperature, heart rate, resp rate, BP)
• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI)
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia
• Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures
• Discharge IM patients with basic client education (insulin, SQ fluids, feeding tube)
• Comfortable speaking with clients and triaging patients
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique
• Maintain patient vital signs and alert Vet of changes
• Provide endoscopic procedure support and equipment handling
• Additional duties as assigned
