Ozark Veterinary Specialty Care in Springdale, AR is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team. You will assist veterinarians, monitor patient flow, participate in diagnostic procedures, and help maintain medical records.

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) highly preferred or pending licensure.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience; internal medicine experience is a bonus.
• Anesthesia experience is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain patient flow.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures per state Act (anesthesia, ultrasound/CT/MRI, endoscopy, etc.).
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems support.
• Obtain health history from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
