North River Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our general practice team. You will assist veterinarians, manage lab work, and support anesthesia and surgery in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Current CVT/tech certification is required.
• Associate degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent is required.
• Strong technical and nursing skills in a general practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and administer medications as directed.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide surgical nursing support.
• Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, cytology).
• Take and interpret radiographs in a safe environment.
• Communicate care instructions to clients clearly.
