VRCC Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital in Englewood, Colorado is seeking an Internal Medicine Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks, including patient care, restraint, and clerical duties. Qualificações

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Veterinary Assistant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and their owners and record basic vitals on arrival.
• Triage patients, assist with exams, treatments and medications under supervision of LVTs/DVMs.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraints.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment and ensure proper documentation of medications.

Formação académica
