Job summary

PetVet Care Centers is seeking an Internal Medicine - Registered Veterinary Technician at VRCC Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital in Englewood, CO. You will provide dedicated veterinary care, support hospital operations, and ensure compassionate service to our patients and clients.

The role requires RVT certification, at least 1 year of experience with hospitalized and critical patients, and a passion for animal wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized/critical patients.
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) as required by State.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, examinations, diagnostics, and nursing care.
• Assist during surgery and operations, maintain medical records and supplies.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status under veterinarian guidance.
• Maintain a safe and clean hospital environment and proper drug administration.
