Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL, seeks an experienced Program Director to lead the Internal Medicine Residency. You will shape curriculum, recruit faculty, and oversee teaching, supervision, and program evaluation to uphold standards.

This role requires 3–5 years of IM post-residency clinical experience, core faculty and GME leadership, and proven scholarship. The position offers a full-time schedule and opportunities to advance patient care and medical education.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of Internal Medicine post-residency clinical experience.
• Core faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency program.
• Minimum 3 years of GME teaching/administrative experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director.
• Strong communication, research involvement, and mentorship.
