Qualifications

• Unrestricted Washington State medical license by start date (employment).
• At least 1 year of teaching in residency/fellowship environment (GME).
• Board certified and clinically active in Internal Medicine; DEA, NPI and state prescriptive authority by start date.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Support Program Director with clinical operations, education strategies and administration of the Internal Medicine Residency program.
• Trains and mentors residents and medical students; participates in regular resident/student evaluations.
• Lead and participate in curriculum development and scholarly activities in collaboration with faculty.
• Provide direct patient care as part of program leadership and clinical duties, including hospital rounding and clinic coverage.
