Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of graduate medical education and/or administrative experience.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM or AOBIM) and medical licensure.
• Current medical licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the residency program in line with NEMS mission.
• Design educational experiences enabling residents to practice independently.
• Develop short- and long-term goals for program success.
• Create and communicate departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and accreditation standards.
• Manage program finances within budget.
• Mentor and supervise faculty; participate in hiring.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Administration to secure funding and resources.
• Oversee staff performance and annual appraisals.
• Maintain program letters of agreement with partner institutions.
