Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Internal Medicine physician to provide comprehensive medical services across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings. You will contribute to patient care within our rehabilitation mission and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

You will maintain timely medical records, participate in quality improvement initiatives, supervise students and residents, and help advance new clinical programs while upholding staff privileges

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Active Michigan medical license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical services in Internal Medicine for inpatients, outpatients, and clinics at Mary Free Bed (MFB).
• Maintain timely medical records and cooperate with billing, peer review and compliance programs.
• Provide oversight and education for students, residents, and mid-level providers.
• Maintain staff privileges at MFB and other hospitals; fulfill duties to maintain privileges such as charting, committee service, and compliance.
