Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. (HMFP) seeks a physician to provide comprehensive primary care across internal or family medicine within the BILHPC practices.

The role includes diagnosing, treating, preventive care, and care coordination. The position is an employment model role with potential for a Harvard Medical School appointment at the Lecturer or Instructor level, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
• Ability to order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Competence in diagnosing and treating a wide range of diseases and coordinating care.

Responsabilités

• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations utilizing medical instruments and equipment.
• Order or execute tests and imaging to assess patient condition.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases and injuries.
• Prescribe medications and provide evidence-based treatment plans.
• Advise on prevention, diet, and health maintenance.
• Prepare records and reports in accordance with procedures.
• Counsel patients and families on diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and clinical meetings.
• Make referrals to specialists when appropriate.
• Support team-based delivery of patient care.
