Job summary

Starling Physicians in New Britain, CT seeks a Board‑Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for our High Risk Department. You will manage complex, high‑risk patients and collaborate with care management to improve outcomes and optimize resource use. Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends; four‑day week option may be available.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Must be able to obtain Connecticut licensure before practicing.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

Job description

High Risk Physician

Starling Physicians is seeking Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians to join our High Risk Department. This provider will manage complex, high‑risk patients with multiple chronic diseases who are in transition of care and/or have higher acuity, short‑term needs. The provider will collaborate with Starling physicians and care management staff to provide medical care and assessment of care management/social work/pharmacy needs, with the goal of achieving high‑value outcomes related to quality metrics, patient experience and appropriate utilization and costs.

Responsibilities

• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends and shared call.
• Option for a four‑day work week is available.

Requirements
