Job summary

Starling Physicians in New Britain, CT is seeking Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join our High Risk Department. This provider will manage complex, high-risk patients in transition of care and collaborate with care management staff to improve quality metrics and patient outcomes.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and shared call, with an option for a four‑day work week.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Connecticut medical licensure required before practice.
• DEA license required.

High Risk Physician

Starling Physicians is seeking Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians to join our High Risk Department. This provider will manage complex, high-risk patients with multiple chronic diseases who are in transition of care and/or have higher acuity, short-term needs. The provider will collaborate with Starling physicians and care management staff to provide medical care and assessment of care management/social work/pharmacy needs, with the goal of achieving high value outcomes related to quality metrics, patient experience and appropriate utilization and costs.

Responsibilities include:

• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends and shared call. Option for a four-day work week is available.
