Job summary

NOW Healthcare Recruitment is helping a Michigan City, IN group recruit a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join a large multispecialty system. The practice offers a flexible full-time schedule, outpatient care with on-site labs and imaging, and opportunities to collaborate with other specialties.

The ideal candidate will hold MD/DO, Indiana medical license (or in progress), and ACLS/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
• MD/DO degree and active medical license in Indiana or in progress.
• ACLS/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Participate in a flexible full-time schedule with options for four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days.
• Share weekday and weekend call; typical 1:7 to 1:15 ratios.
• See 20–25 patients per 8-hour day; supervise APPs as needed.
• Possibility to see patients virtually about 25% of contact hours.
